How did the Space Race benefit US society? It helped the United States achieve victory in the Korean War. It provided a friendly competition resulting in new technologies and jobs. It allowed the US government to reduce the federal deficit. It proved that the Soviet Union was too focused on exploring space.

    the space race was a competition between the US and the Soviet Union for spaceflight capability. the ability to go to space definitely resulted in new technologies and with new things, come new jobs. I'd definitely say it's B
