law of sines and cosines not as bad as a lot of trig for sure
identities are much worse
and solving equations

once you get the hang of it, you will think it is easy, trust me
it is frustrating learning for sure, and i get the impression this is an on line class so it is kind of diy
but don't give up

law of sines, law of cosines, that is all

If two angles were given and one side I would immediately think of law of sine.
When two sides are given with an angle makes sense to use law of cosine
