The sum of three consecutive numbers is 57. What is the largest of these numbers? 18 19 20 21

    let the largest be x since the 3 numbers are consecutive, they are x-2, x-1 and x respectively set up the sum n u can solve for x good luck :)

    x - 2 + x - 1 + x = 57 3x - 3 = 57 3x = 60 x = 20
