    Dwayne is correct about the perimeter but incorrect about the area. Let's say the side was of lngth sqrt(2). The area is sqrt(2) times sqrt(2) = 2 which is a rational number. The perimeter is 4s or 4 Sqrt(2) which is still irrational.
