Solve the proportion to determine the value of x. 2x / 5 = x+3 / 3 Answer: Jane is traveling to Europe this summer with the French club. She plans to bring $300 to spend while she is there. If $90 in U.S. currency is equivalent to 63 euros, how many euros will she receive when she exchanges her money? Answer: Solve the proportion to determine the value of x. 5x-4 / 4x+7 = 13 / 11 Answer:

wow... so 21/9 = 10/4 or 2 2/3 = 2 1/2 I think you need to reconsider your answer to the similar figures question

well for similar figures, all corresponding sides need to be in the same ratio so when you look at QR/GF and RS/GH are they the same values 21/9 does it equal 10/4 or after simplifying does 7/3 equal 5/2 ?

    for 2x/5 = (x +3)/3 cross multiply and you get 6x = 5x + 15 now solve for x
