Movie theaters lowered prices during the Great Depression because movie stars helped people escape their worries. audiences had very little money to spend on movies. audiences were not interested in seeing movies. movies were competing with radio shows.

    Now it can't be b because they lowered prices of movie to bring in families. Even did a little monopoly game where people can get groceries. So you can cross out B
