What does it mean when a medication responds favorably?

    When the medication responds favourably that means that it's going to do what it is suppose to do for example if you are on pain meds and the meds react favourably then you shouldn't have pain while on the meds

    As in: Bone turnover and postmenopausal osteoporosis respond favorably to most SERMs

    So the SERMs are a successful way to get help with bone turnover and osteoporosis?
