Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0I believe its 13 × 13 × 13

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2oh geez I haven't done this problem in years... but let me find the volume of the cube ok.. volume of the cube is side x side x side . A cube is a threedimensional shape that has with equal width, height, and length measurements. so we're writing 13 three times right?

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2ok. I'll give an example say that we have cube of side 4. since volume of the cube = side x side x side then we have 4 x 4 x 4 or \[\large (4)^3 \]

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2that exponent number 3 means write 4 3 times 4 x 4 x 4 now try apply my example to the 13 x 13 x 13

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2uh oh... label matters volume of the cube = 4 ft x 4 ft x 4 ft (4ft)^3

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2yes... it should be 13^3 but I forgot to mention that the label matters as well x:/

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2so we need to apply the word "feet" or ft to this as well. we got it right, but if I remembered correctly, the label shouldn't be left behind.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2so 13 ft x 13 ft x 13 ft = ?

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2we got it right ... just remember the labels... (13 ft)^3

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2lots of physics problems will make you convert first so that all units are the same, and we have to keep those labels...can't drop them.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0i believe were right

UsukiDoll

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2yes.. since putting it in exponential form we need the number 3 because that would mean writing 13 3 times (13)^3 = 13 x 13 x 13
