Which statement is true? A line parallel to the x-axis has neither slope nor y-intercept defined. A line parallel to the y-axis has neither slope nor y-intercept defined. A line parallel to the x-axis has slope defined, but not y- intercept. A line parallel to the y-axis has slope defined, but not y- intercept.

a simple to look at this problem is a simple sketch |dw:1436990729192:dw| which line has a zero slope and which has an undefined slope..? which line has a y- intercept, which has an x-intercept?

1st one is a zero slope and the 2nd one is an undefined slope

great so the 2nd one doesn't have a y- intercept... so which choice is true..?

so you should be looking at a line parallel to the y-axis

so you need to look at parallel to the y-axis where the slope and y- intercept aren't defined... so I'd say B is true
