Write an equation of a line with an undefined slope and passing through the point (-2,4). Hint: To answer this question, consider the type of line that has an undefined slope. Then write an equation of that line using the values in the ordered pair.

    Here the hint is quite handy. An undefined slope means the slope would be something like 1/0 because you cannot divide by zero. This means an undefined slope (or an infinitely large slope) is the slope of a vertical line. The X- value will never change. SO based on this info, what would it be?

    Here, it might be a bit confusing. Basically undefined slope means a vertical line (i.e. x = 1 or x = -7). Since it goes through (-2,4) and the X - VALUE DOES NOT change, what would it be?
