A square pyramid has side lengths of 10 units and a height of 7.6 units. The slant height of each lateral face is 9.1 units. What is the surface area of the pyramid to the nearest unit?

    To do this you find the area of the triangles using A=SL/2 So A=(10)(9.1)/2=? The area of the square is A=(10)(10)=? When you add the surface area together you need to take into account there are 4 of the sides

    The formula for square pyramid \[SA = a^2 +2a \sqrt{\frac{ a^2 }{ 4 } + h^2}\] Where a is base edge and h is height
