Plz help desperatley need this credit!!! A health food company sells packs of assorted nuts. The company incurs a monthly fixed cost of $1,400 for ingredients and raw materials plus packaging costs of $1 per bag. The expression that represents the total cost (y) of manufacturing x bags of nuts in a month is A. y=x+1,400 B. y=1,400+1 C. y=x/1,400+1

    How much would their costs be if they packaged 0 (zero) bags in a month?

    it tells you that there is a monthly FIXED cost fixed costs are incurred regardless of production (As a separate comment - this is not a good question - fixed costs are generally considered things like rent, salaries, and costs which must be paid. Raw materials and ingredients are NOT fixed costs. However tjis question tells you they are so you gotta go with it) So the fixed costs are how much (even if 0 packs are made)??

    No the answer is NOT B EACH packet extra costs $1 so x packets costs $x
