y is equal to those 2 things so you can equate them together

    \[3.25= - 0.5{x^2} + x + 6\]

simplify it to \[0= - 0.5{x^2} + x + 2.75\] now you can use the quadratic equation to find the roots

an ordered pair is a point, they want you to give the y value there along with the x value

remember what you solved here to begin with, we found the x value for the given y value of 3.25

when you find both of the xs lets say x1 and x2 then the ordered pairs would be (x1,3.25) and (x2,3.25) this is what we solved initially we wanted to know the x values when y=3.25 look at the 2 equations you are given
