    area of fabric needed= total surface area of the triangular prism =ar of 2 triangles + ar of 3 rect faces ar 2 triangles = 2(1/2 x 6 x 7) = 42 ar 3 rect faces = 3(7x11) = 231 total ar= 231+42 =273
