Which of the following statements are true about a strong base and a weak base at a pH of 11? A. Both bases require the same amount of HCl to reach pH 7 because they are both at the same initial pH. B. HCl will not bring the pH of either solution to pH 7. C. The weak base will require less HCl to bring the pH to 7 than the strong base. D. The strong base will require less HCl to bring the pH to 7 than the weak base.

    Well if you look at the graphs for a strong and a weak base being titrated with a strong acid (HCl) in both cases it reacts slow and then when it approaches the equivallance point it speeds up quite rapidly and then slows down after passing the equivallance points.     Ok that would be because the graphs the strong base shoots down faster than the weak one
