Openstudy came first back in 2010 and PeerAnswer just opened recently. PeerAnswer is a direct ripoff due to similarities such as the round smart score button, the pencil icon when replying to a person, and the chat (only on their site it's on the left while OS's one is on the right). Not to mention that they also grabbed the Facebook/Youtube Like buttons and just recolored it. Moreover, the lack of maturity and rule breaking is obvious on PeerAnswer because the links to their Code of Conduct and Terms don't work. However, I got to admit that PeerAnswer has .gif support for profile pictures and their equation tool is nicely organized so typing Latex isn't necessary for super long problems, but that's only the pros I can weed out.

@UsukiDoll they are planning to remove the .gif support due to the lag that comes with having .gif profile pictures
