    but the question is "find y if 10y=3" Is it not that y =3/10? or \(10^y=3?\)

    The reason is , at x =3, the graph is about 0.48 other options: y =0.01 at 1<x<2 y =1.48 at x > 6 y = -2.01 at x < 1 just y =0.48 is the correct one.
