Problem \(1\) and \(2\) are related to this. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knight%27s_tour
problem \(3\) answer looks \(18\) moves for me.
OMG IT'S COOKIE MONSTER!

this is a more hardcore chess puzzle , with finding the best move for black. |dw:1437393007194:dw|
I don't that game. I end up losing
@mathmath333 i don't understand that wikipedia theory well can u tell me whats the answer to those chess questions?
i need solutions of question 1 nd 2. i knw solution no.3
answer for \(2\) is \(c.)\) it think
for \(1st\) question i didnt understand what it means by " return at the starting point as 4N+1st square".
does that work?
1st question means that after stepping on all 4N squares we have to return to original square frm where we started so total squares covered would be 4N+1 @mathmath333
yes that works @dan815
grrr math math asked a question and just left?
okay how are u doing today, whats on the menu
frm many days i've had have only 3 things on the menu - sadness, stress nd tension
i eat 2 hot dogs a day
@imqwerty In that case too the answer should be \(c.)\)
but how :(
http://gaebler.us/share/Knight_tour.html see the condition for knight;s closed tour.
so sorry i think it would be \(d.)\) for a.)
this ws a vry tough exam nd the time limit ws also vry less...the top 50 teams get selected i hope i come into that category ^^
i did 'd' fr question 1 a part ^^
what did u choose for question 2.)
question 1.) answer is d.) But foe 2.) it's c.) as the question 2.) is asking for open tour.
yes i did 2nd question wrong :(
but m sure that i've done the 3rd question correct. my answer is c
i did that earlier in my chessboard and it took me \(18\) moves , let me check it once again.
it checked it ,it took me 18 moves , i am sure 18 is correct
wait i'll tell u the steps
meanwhile relpying to @dan815 's answer that move fails to this next move by white|dw:1437416181640:dw|
wth damn the answer is 18 hell i did it all correct nd i asked my partner to jst count the number of steps which he did wrong T_T nonono :((
