If a person was climbing near the tops of the Rocky Mountains, what kind of vegetation would he or she find? Tall, sturdy pine trees. Tree's that loose their leaves in the fall Very few or no trees. A large variety of plants, trees, and shrubs.

    mountainous regions usually don't have very much oxygen so only small very hard to get rid of plants would be able to live there
