HI! Can anyone simplify radical -25 for a medal?

    Hello there! :) I think you would get a much faster and accurate response if you asked your question in our Mathematics Section ^_^ [I'm on my phone so I can't see your picture :( ] but from what I understand, the square root of a negative number would have to include an "imaginary" or "i" i = sqrt(-1) so for example, sqrt(16) = 4 so sqrt(-16) = 4 i then if sqrt(25) = 5 what do you think sqrt(-25) = ?
