i only need help with part one
Let x= total liters in bottle
.6x=litres of lemon juice
y=.6x+1 would be the volume with the 1L of water
wait would that be the equation or what.... i am a bit confused about this

The equation would be that y would be the the total volume because there is 1L of water plus the lemon juice so that's the equation for the total volume to find the amount of lemon juice you can do lemon juice= (.6)(1) as 60% of 1L is .6L you would have .6L of lemon juice for a total volume of 1.6L
