copy and paste the same exact question onto google and google will give you your right answer :D
I dont trust the google calculator its always wrong for some reason :(
hold on then lol
After following the formula I got 100√3 then rounded to the nearest tenth i got 100 yd^2
There's a formula to calculate the area of an equilateral triangle. Here it is: A=3√4s2 where s is the length of one side of the triangle.
The perpendicular bisector divides the triangle into 2 30 60 90 triangles. One side of the rectangle is 10 yards. The length of the other side is 10 * sq root of 3 So the area is 10 * 10 * sq root of 3
It wont let me put the sq root in the answer box
Area is about 173.2 sq yards
ok i wa right :D
so the answer is 173.21?
wolf can i be in your legion? ;3
sure ali :-)
yeah in exact but yours is right too
No problem :-)
Well a more exact answer is 173.205080756888 sq yards.
I was kinda making it easy for him but that works too :3
And thanks for the medals
No prob xD
Yall wanna tell me how i go about doing this? A pole that is 2.7m tall casts a shadow that is 1.29mlong. At the same time, a nearby building casts a shadow that is 48.5m long. How tall is the building? Round your answer to the nearest meter. Or shall I open another question?
Post in a new question? Thats what they always tell me :P
I know it's something like 2.7/x 1.29/48.5
nvm then xDDD
Well if you make it a new question, then I could get another medal but we can stay right here if you want
