Is my answer correct? A side of an equilateral triangle is 20yd long. What is the area of the triangle? Do not round any intermediate computations, and round your answer to the nearest tenth.

After following the formula I got 100√3 then rounded to the nearest tenth i got 100 yd^2

There's a formula to calculate the area of an equilateral triangle. Here it is: A=3√4s2 where s is the length of one side of the triangle.

The perpendicular bisector divides the triangle into 2 30 60 90 triangles. One side of the rectangle is 10 yards. The length of the other side is 10 * sq root of 3 So the area is 10 * 10 * sq root of 3

Yall wanna tell me how i go about doing this? A pole that is 2.7m tall casts a shadow that is 1.29mlong. At the same time, a nearby building casts a shadow that is 48.5m long. How tall is the building? Round your answer to the nearest meter. Or shall I open another question?
