y-intercept is a point where line cross y-axis when x=0 replace x by 0 solve for y zeros(solution,x-intercept ) is a point where line cross x-axis when y =0 so replace y by 0 solve for x if leading coefficient is positive then both ends will rise (u shape) and if leading coefficient is negative then u will have (n shape )
