Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1Here is choice A. as an example: A. If I am biking, then I am moving. Converse: If I am moving, then I am biking. Is that really true? You can be moving by simply walking, not biking. Now do this to choices B, C, and D

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1C. If I am running, then I am exercising. Converse: If I am exercising, then I am running. You could exercise by lifting weights. Exercising does not necessarily mean you must be running.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1B. If I am in the desert, then I am thirsty. Converse: If I am thirsty, then I am in the desert. D. If I am awake, then I am studying. Converse: If I am studying, then I am awake. You understand how those are the converses of B and D?

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1B. If I am in the desert, then I am thirsty. Converse: If I am thirsty, then I am in the desert. I could be thirsty for many other reasons. Perhaps I just ran a marathon. Perhaps I haven't had anything to drink for the last 10 hours. Just because I am thirsty, it does not necessarily mean I'm in a desert. B is not the answer. D. If I am awake, then I am studying. Converse: If I am studying, then I am awake. This is the correct answer. If you are studying, you must be awake. You can't study while you're asleep, so the only possibility is to be awake. D is it. D is the correct answer. You are correct.
