On the Oregon Trail, each person over the age of 10 was given 1.5 cups of beans per day. One family who traveled the trail in 1852 had 7 family members over the age of 10. How many cups of beans did the family receive each week?

    Explanation: -Each kid over age of 10 is given 1.5 cups of beans PER DAY -7 family members over the age of 10 -10.5 cups of bean per day in a week 10.5 times 7 = 73.5 cups of beans
