I have a right rectangular prism, slanted rectangular prism, right triangular prism and a right cylinder. All are the same height. All three prisms have a base measuring 18 square millimeters. (r.r.p. is 9x2, s.r.p. is 3x6, r.t.p. is b=6 h=6). The cylinder's radius is 4mm. Which figures have the same volume? Why?

A = b*h find all the figures that have a base with the same area as A

the problem says that all the heights are the same, so if the area of the base is the same, then the volume is also the same V = b*h

the cylinder has a different base area, therefore it has a different volume...
