What functional group is present in: a - phenacetin b - valine c - adenine d - serine e - acetaminophen f - aspirin

    Phenacetin has an amide, an ether and an aromatic group Valine has an amino group (-NH2) and a carboxylic acid (-COOH) Adenine has an amino group Serine had a carboxylic acid, an amino group and a hydroxyl group Acetaminophen has a hydroxyl group, an amide and an aromatic compound Aspirin has a carboxylic acid and an ester I think I got them all.

    so valine, adenine & serine all have an amine as a functional group?
