what makes farming in mountainous areas so difficult without terracing the poor sound quality of mountain land? the rugged landscape of mountain and the lack of human resources in mountain land? the lack of animal labor in mountains?

    Because mountains are mainly rock and kind of high up where air is scarce and then there's the whole weather thing which at higher elevations is kind of cold and because most people don't really look at a mountain and think "yeah I wanna live there".
