Using compass directions, what is the direction of the vector? The diagram is not drawn to scale.

    Well the Vector is the Red line located in the middle/ Located in between North and East So If we are traveling in the between North and East we are going North East.

    This also gives direction if more things are given

    That is East of north. The line is in the quadrant that is defined by North and East, therefore those are the two relevant direction. They give the angle as 45 degrees from north, therefore it is 45 degrees East of North.

    By the way West of North would be if the Vector was On the other side. But close.
