But always wanted to be remembered as a TEACHER... has passed away in IIM Shillong while giving a lecture..(It was his wish to die among children teaching - and it came true)... We all who admire you MISS you alot sir...

He was not only a great scientist but also a great human being. I'm proud to be a citizen of the country which entitles Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam as former President of the Nation as well as a great Scientist, Human Being and a statue of humanity and wisdom. Has been about two weeks since that unfortunate happening, but the Nation promises not to forget his deeds ever. He has stood out as a great example for all of us!
