1.What type of radiation is emitted when chromium-51 decays into manganese-51? Show the nuclear equation that leads you to this answer.

    I don't think Cr-51 can decay into another kind of element, it may lose electrons or He2+ but I don't think it can transmute into Mn-51

    Is this right???? Chromium- 51/24 ---> Manganese- 51/25 + Beta- 0/-1
