yea same here you have to know exactly what you want to know about the music theory because since there so a lot of different complex ways to explain all of it i'm pretty sure they aren't expecting you to be a music Einstein but yeah

There are certain things that can help you, like a few concepts you'll need to know. For example, you need to know note names by placement on a staff. You'll need to know key signatures, triads, etc. A really useful site is emusictheory.com and go to the free resources
