    that looks right, because if it wasn't in simplest there would be a factor of the 6 and 1. Do you know what i mean or should i explain?

    So if it was a 2 instead of a one, you could divided 2 by 2 to get one and 6 by 2 to get 3, but since it is already a one it is in simplest form

    but 2/3 is not improper improper is when a numerator is better than the denominator
