    excuse the drawing as you can see from the graph the maximum value of the cosine is 1 and the minimum is -1. It is a repeating function with a period of 2 pi radians. It is an even function ( because it reflects in the y-axis.

    ok so the cosine graph is the graph of F(x)=cos(x) There cosine graph is- continuous-it can be drawn without lifting the pencil up. periodic-the graph repeats after a certain interval (pi). bounded-it has certain maximum and minimum values. max =1 min=-1 The graph is a periodic wave type graph. Since it is periodic wave, it has ongoing x-intercepts, but since it is horizontal, it has only one y-intercept.
