    if 6 is 1/2 of the horizontal diagonal, then 1/2 of the top diagonal (using 30-60-90 triangle info) is 6 sqrt(3) and the area is d1*d2/2 d1= 12 d2= 12sqrt(3) d1*d2= 144 sqr(3) and divide by 2 72 sqr(3)
