    BODMAS stands for Brackets, Order, Divide, Multiply, Add, Subtract and reminds you in what sequence to carry out the operations of arithmetic. As you can see there are three levels to consider. Any bracketed calculations are carried out with first with any such calculations also following the rules of BODMAS.

    kind of dangerous to put () and represent it as exponents. users who don't know latex code use ^2 to denote that there is an exponent ex. x^3 means x to the 3rd power

    I guess I'm the only one with PEMDAS Parenthesis, Exponent, Multiply, Divide, Add, Subtract in here

    Yea BODMAS is UK thing. PEDMAS is more comprehensive. The B means brackets (parentheses).
