Where is the system at? You did not put the system of equations.

    Ok, input that point into both equations and if they are both true then it is a solution g(x) = 3x+ 2 f(x) = |x - 1| + 1 5 = 3x+ 2 5 = |x - 1| + 1 Is this true or false??? 5 = 3(1)+ 2 5 = 5 Now for the next equation. Is it true or false? 5 = |1 - 1| + 1 5 = 0 + 1 5 = 1 If both are true then it is a solution. If either one is not true the point is not a solution.

What is a solution is this |dw:1438623510082:dw| as both the lines intersect there :)
