All Quiet on the Western Front question. How does Kropp (Albert Kropp) differ from the others when the men discuss the causes of war?

    This is what I have come up with so far... Albert, always having been the clearest thinker of the lot, always came up with the most reasonable of conversations, when it came to almost anything. War, death, and even women.

    He also proposed to end the war by having the Generals or highest in command and ranking of each country going to war, fight each other in an arena, and the winner would win the war.
