For your fable rewrite, think even bigger and better! You will check in your assignment that you'll vary the sentence structure. This means change things around more, not using all the same words they use, and switch around the order or individual sentences.

A Shepherd Boy was tending his flock near a village, and thought it would be great fun to hoax the villagers by pretending that a Wolf was attacking the sheep: so he shouted out, "Wolf! Wolf!" and when the people came running up he laughed at them for their pains. He did this more than once, and every time the villagers found they had been hoaxed, for there was no Wolf at all. At last a Wolf really did come, and the Boy cried, "Wolf! Wolf!" as loud as he could: but the people were so used to hearing him call that they took no notice of his cries for help.

There was a lonely boy that tended to and guarded sheep in his clustered community, and he thought he could get a great laugh if he made a joke on his fellow town people that a wolf was attacking the sheep. Would that cure his boredness? So he decided to shout out Wolf! Wolf! When the people came running he laughed at them. Getting up from sunrise to sunset protecting sheep was something for someone who has an addiction to silence and has a wanting for the quiet life. The lonely boy wasn't like that, he wanted to venture out into the world be fun and have a great laugh even if it meant losing the trust of others. He decided to keep shouting out there was a Wolf just to get a laugh but when one finally came he cried out Wolf, but no one came and so they didn't notice his cry for help.
