Keep in mind that $r^2=x^2+y^2$ and $x=rcos(theta)$

does this apply to other functions too like sec?

3. freckles

example: $r= 2 \sec(\theta) \\ r=2 \frac{1}{\cos(\theta)} \\ r \cos(\theta)=2(1) \\ r \cos(\theta) =2 \\ x =2$ yep it applies!

thank you!

are you able to convert yours to rectangular form?
