    Each of those companies have the same sales exponential form... Sales = (Starting amount) *(Factor)^(Time)

    So each time x increases by 1, the amount of sales is multiplies by what is in the parenthesis...

    right, the percent increase is determined by the (1+r) number... the current sales, p, is multiplied by that number for each increase in X
