MEDAL!!! 42. The function f(x)=x^2. The graph of g(x) is f(x) translated to the right 3 units and down 3 units. What is the function rule for g(x)? I need it step by step:)

    ok... so the vertex of the parabola is going to be at (3, -3) , 3 to the right x= 3 and down 3 so y = -3 the vertex form of the parabola is \[y = a(x -h)^2 + k\] the vertex is at (h, k) in your question a = 1 so plug in your vertex and you can see if you are correct by graphing using https://www.desmos.com/calculator hope it helps
