What is the simplified form of the quantity of x plus 4, all over the quantity of 7 − the quantity of x plus 3, all over the quantity of x plus 5?
(I will rewrite with numbers shortly)

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1I would leave the bottom 7(x+5) but if you do multiply it out (i.e. distribute the 7) you get 7x+35 (not 7x+30)

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1also, the 2nd fraction should have been multiplied by 7/7 it should look like this \[ \frac{(x+4)(x+5) 7(x+3)}{7(x+5)} \] now use FOIL to multiply (x+4)(x+5) up top also distribute the 7.... you get 7x21
