    Convert the numbers to percent, you divide the number of respondents for purple by the number of respondents and multiply by 100%. 11/50 = 0.22 0.22*100% = 22% So the height of the purple bar equals 22 % Sorry if this is incorrect! If I'm remembering correctly, that is how to solve a question/problem like that.
