Describe several contributions your scientist has made to the scientific community and the world. Think about the age your scientist lived in. If it was long ago, what might he/she be working on today? If your scientist lived/lives in modern times, what could you imagine him/her working on in the future? Nicholas Copernicus

I think this pertains more to science, but research about some scientists today. Maybe talk about Mae Jemison, she's the first African American woman to travel in space when she went into orbit aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour on 1992.
