Why were the Israelite kings David and Solomon important? David was the father of the Israelites, and Solomon united the tribes of Israel. David made Jerusalem a great city, and Solomon encouraged trade with Egypt. David made Jerusalem his capital city, and Solomon built a large temple in Jerusalem. David delivered the Ten Commandments, and Solomon conquered retriceria.

    David was not the father of the Israelites, nor did he deliver the 10 commandments and Solomon encouraging trade with Egypt isn't why Solomon is important.
