    you have to find AC which is hypotenuse of right triangle given is adjacent

    you should have one angle and one side to find 3rd one given is adjacent asking for x which is hypotenuse so apply cos function \[\rm cos 35 = \frac{ adjacent }{ hypotenuse }\]
