Can you buy the title "Moderator" or "Ambassador" with smartcents? If not, what do you have to do to become a "Moderator" or "Ambassador"?

Ambassadors are a group of selected representatives of OpenStudy. They answer questions from new users, and welcome and greet them. They are the embodiment of OpenStudy's ideologies. There are requirements that must be met to qualify: - Be 13 or older - Have a form of ID - excluding a birth certificate, but like a drivers license, or anything with a picture of you, your name, and your birthday. - Have no major suspensions/warnings on your record *If you have serious offenses, an additional process may be required* - Have at least been logged onto OpenStudy for 90 days - Have read the Code of Conduct and Terms, and understand the rules There are some behaviors that Ambassadors must express: - As an Ambassador, you agree to always be kind and understanding - As an Ambassador you should let users know you appreciate them - Congratulate and reward positive behavior, and discourage negative behavior - Lead by example! - Respect the staff - never talk ill of OpenStudy - Never share personal information if shared with you A file created by e.mccormick with further details on how Ambassadors are chosen: http://goo.gl/IQ2UjL If you feel that you are capable to apply, then you may fill out the application form below. A moderator is a user on OpenStudy that moderates and makes sure to keep the site under control. Moderators protect the CoC (Code of Conduct) and TaC (Terms and Conditions) by volunteering their time to make the best experience for users on OpenStudy. You can tell if a user is a mod by looking at their purple username. Requirements are needed to be brought up to on becoming a moderator on OpenStudy. Here they are: - Be 18 and older - You have to be, and act mature - Have been on the site for a decent amount of time. (usually more than 6 months). - Be an positive and active user on the site - Having a squeaky clean abuse record. - Have good attitude with fellow users. - Having a good sense of justice. - Be an expert in a field of study. - Do a great job in the ambassador program*. *In the ambassador training period, you'll learn how the rules work on OpenStudy and you'll learn how to make the right decisions. Being an Ambassador isn't required, but it can help. You have to win the respect of this community through interaction, knowledge and the ability to interact and intervene in an appropriate manner. It is a big part based on participation, courtesy and respect. You have to be willing to make some effort to solve/prevent arguments and problems that arise, and DO NOT ask to become a moderator, as this will only decrease your chances of becoming one. Then, when the admins decide they need more moderators, you might get asked. Good luck!

The user was asking if he/she could buy the Moderator or Ambassador title with OwlBucks. Sorry for the confusion.
