I will provide screenshots of the recommendation letter and volunteer certificate with my name in black, so no one would know. ^_________^. Questions and Answers: Q: Did you get your Recommendation Letter and Volunteer Certificate through mail or e-mail? A: E-mail Q: Did you provide your real name? A: Yes Q: How much did the Recommendation Letter and Volunteer Certificate cost? A: They are about 50 owlbucks each ($10 US Dollars), so if you want both, you need 100 owlbucks ($20 US dollars). Q: Who is sending the e-mail? A: OpenStudy Team and their e-mail is contact@openstudy.com . The subject line I got for the recommendation letter is “Check it Out!” and “And the Volunteering Cert” when both items are purchased. Wait Time It took a little bit over 2 weeks (around 15 or 16 days) to finally get my recommendation letter and volunteer certificate. Volunteer certificate This document comes in a nice OpenStudy template, but it’s focuses more on the number of hours spent on the website. Most of the details are exactly the same as @Data_LG2 ‘s letter. There is a breakdown on how many questions you’ve answered, the number of fans, testimonials, and medals, and how long you’ve been on Openstudy’s system. Recommendation Letter This goes on a more personal scale and depends on the smartscore and the top 3 subjects (In other words, the subjects with the most medals appear on the letter). The subject with the most medals ends up being first, followed by the second and third. For me, it was Mathematics, English, and Biology (though I don’t help much in that area to be honest). Afterwards, the letter reflects on the conduct and how you contribute to OpenStudy. I really like both of these documents, but if users were to pick one, I would suggest the recommendation letter because it’s a good addition to your resume. The letter would look nicer for anyone who reaches over 90 SS and becomes involved in OpenStudy. By involved, I mean answering questions, not spam like wildfire. I’m glad that these materials reflect on my current record as opposed to when I ranted a few weeks ago and wanted to quit at one point. ^_^’
This is what the Recommendation Letter looks like This document is also 2 pages long and comes in a .pdf format. Last image is what the border looks like and it's the same for the volunteering certificate
Wow. I'm so happy for you! :)

Thank you :D
There are two mini gripes though. It's nothing serious, but I'm just baffled. I think the reason why it says over a year is because of Days Studied 433 when I've been a member of OpenStudy for about 3 years now. How does the days studied differ than having an account on Openstudy in general? I've been on OpenStudy for hours during summer vacation so it pushed the number of days up, but I still think that putting blah blah blah has been a member since 2012 would beef the letter up a bit. XD Also, I only have 3 medals in Biology because I took Mathematical Biology last semester and it was nothing but Matlab, so how did this happen? XD

Congrats @UsukiDoll \(\Large \color{red}{\ddot\smile}\)
WHOA OPENSTUDY SUPPORTS GIFS NOW OMG
also this might look good on future job applications :D too bad it's too late to put on college apps rip
not if someone is trying to get to grad school. Recommendation letters are needed over there too XD.
finally u got the letter :) u might be so happy @UsukiDoll ^~^
nice!
thanks :)
Congrats!
Awesome! Well done!
Yay. that's so cool
Woot! Congrats. You'll make a great ambi :)
Nicely done Usuki! I wonder if it's possible if you have more than one account, you can have a letter that can combine the number of hours ;). Nevertheless, totally worth it. Good job!
congrats.
@EclipsedStar I've noticed some mechanical errors too when I read this letter as well. @Astrophysics no alts. This is my one and only main account that's been on OS for 3 years now.
UPDATE: This is what the Volunteer Certificate looks like
I had to make an additional black out... oy yahhhhh *facepalm* It's a 2 page .pdf document.
@UsukiDoll congrats ......and all the best :)))
thanks :)
u r most welcome :))))
Oh I know, I was just wondering if that's possible haha, wishful thinking to say the least, but still awesome, thank you so much for sharing. :)
you're welcome. It was at the request of @TheSmartOne because this user wanted me to share what the recommendation letter and certificate looks like, so when people save on owlbucks they will know what to buy.
Or if users are lucky, they might get an owldonation instead :) (if they help out a lot...that is)
owldonation?
Oh I see haha
yeah gift owlbucks. you either buy owlbucks through paypal or users can gift owlbucks. I call it owldonation.
Haha yeah I figured as much, that's pretty awesome you can do that!
thank you sooo much Usuki :D
Had to delete a past comment due to Usuki's request... XD Well, I'll just put up my observation again with omitting something. ;) There's a period missing on one sentence, and a bit of other minor compilations. http://prntscr.com/84sk67
my true opinions about this: Why the heck are they counting it as if we spent 2 minutes to help one user. Heck, that is if we give a direct answer. We deserve more time for community service. Guiding users to the answer takes at least 10 minutes not 2.
This is late but congrats :) LOL
Thanks @CandyCove @TheSmartOne I really agree that more hours should have been recorded because I have spent a lot of hours over last summer to build my hours and I thought I would easily exceed 150 hours on top of me being here since 2012. I felt skimped and cheated on that.
