    because a triangle has the two sides that have are the same then the bottom of the triangle is going to be different then the sides of the triangle. Sorry if I am wrong but that just seem to be the right answer to me. I would go with @imqwerty , though.

    a triangle can be formed cause these sides satisfy this condition - in a triangle the sum of lengths of any two sides is greater than the length of other side
